"Reetjuwel Eiderstedt"—A Relaxing Retreat and Vacation Gem - Achterdeck
Our beautiful thatched-roof house with 3 apartments is centrally located on the Eider Peninsula—between the idyllic Eider River, the sophisticated town of St. Peter-Ording (SPO), and the Westerhever Lighthouse, a local landmark. This location makes it the ideal spot for families, nature lovers, and active vacationers. Whether hiking, biking, or kitesurfing on the North Sea—your vacation begins right on your doorstep. The large garden with its own playground right next to the house also makes the vacation home especially family-friendly; an outdoor shower is available for water sports enthusiasts.
The “Achterdeck” half of the vacation home offers 80 square meters of living space and can accommodate up to eight people, including two sleeping areas specifically for children. It features three bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a separate guest restroom. The enclosed kitchen with a dining table is equipped with a ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, electric kettle, toaster, and coffee maker; kitchen utensils, dishes, and silverware, as well as dish towels, are provided. In the living room, a sofa corner, armchairs, and a sofa invite you to relax. A satellite TV and a hi-fi system provide entertainment, and Wi-Fi is available free of charge. A crib is provided. The property is designated as a non-smoking accommodation and is equipped with smoke detectors.
Outside, you’ll find a garden with a lawn for sunbathing, patio furniture, and a grill.
For children, there is a sandbox, a swing, and a playground. The property is fully fenced and offers two private parking spaces. Its central location makes our house the ideal starting point for a wide range of activities on the Eider Peninsula—such as biking, kitesurfing, hiking, or simply relaxing.
The sea is about 7 kilometers away on foot or by bike. Various attractions such as the Westerhever Lighthouse, the sophisticated town of St. Peter-Ording with its endless beaches and kitesurfing spots, the Eider Barrage, and the Multimar-Wattforum in Tönning, as well as “Little Amsterdam” Friedrichstadt are all within a radius of about 20 km. The distance to the train station is 500 meters; restaurants and shopping are about 3 kilometers away.
