“Feel Right at Home”
The cozy and modernly furnished “Medemsonne” vacation home, which sleeps 4, is located on a quiet cul-de-sac right on the Medem River. The adjacent walking path provides quick and easy access to Otterndorf’s historic district, with its many shopping options, restaurants, and pubs. The beach and recreational facilities are also only about 1.5 km away. The spacious living area on the first floor, featuring a wood-burning stove, dining area, and sofa set, invites you to relax. Here, you’ll find every comfort, such as a smart TV, stereo system, and Wi-Fi. The separate kitchen and a guest restroom are also located on the first floor. A closed wooden staircase leads to the upper floor. Here you’ll find the two bedrooms, as well as the bathroom with a shower, tub, and toilet, and a sauna with 2 loungers or 4 seats. From the south-facing bedroom with a double bed, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the Medem River. The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds and a crib. You can access the south-facing terrace directly from the living area. Since 2023, the terrace has been fully covered with glass and fitted with glass doors for wind protection. In this “garden room,” you can relax in warmth and comfort even during the transitional seasons of fall and spring when the weather is sunny and pleasant. On hot, sunny days, adjustable shading is available. A canoe (Canadian-style, 3-person) is available for recreational activities. Access to the Medem River leads through the south-facing garden directly to the property’s private boat dock, which invites you to relax by the river.
You can park your car in the private carport right next to the house. Energy costs are included.
