Ta'Leli Pool Farmhouse in Gozo - Happy Rentals

3 bedroom farmhouse, linen provided, 2 bathrooms, 3 ensuite, adequate pool area. Plenty of parking in the street is available. Ac coins operated, which cost us about 18euros for 3 nights. There are ACs in all bedrooms and kitchen area. In a different review someone mentioned a mouldy chopping board, for our stay there was a new chopping board available. There's a washing machine that works well. There's a wall safe available.

I booked from here and had to pay etc on another site, the timing of money withdrawal wasn't as described by booking.com but it was before. The house is a Maltese old house, where you go in and there's a yard to connect the rooms, therefore you always need to have the bedrooms and kitchen door closed as there can be mosquitos and flies. The BBQ was not functioning properly when asked the maintenance about it, he told us we could still use it but we didn't risk it. The pool needed chlorine during our stay as by the third day the lilo we left in the pool overnight came slimy green where it touched the water, (pumps were working). The entrance door needs to have a proper lock installed that can be properly locked from the inside during the night, considering one meter away there's a bedroom. The house needs a more thorough clean, the window infront of the coin meter is filled with spiderwebs, the wall tiles in the bathrooms also need to be cleaned better, the mosquito tent that surrounds the master bedroom needs to be removed or cleaned more frequently.

-Very good location. -Easy parking on the street. -Nice-sized pool with different depths. -Large bedrooms. -Kitchen well equipped.

-Dishwasher not working. -Gas BBQ very dirty and burners broken. -Stained toilet seat in one of the ensuites. -Ceiling Fan remotes not working. Before your stay, I recommend asking the host to ensure that the A/C coin meter has been emptied. When we arrived at approximately 7:30 p.m., we attempted to use the air conditioning, but the coins repeatedly dropped out of the meter because it was full. From around 8:00 p.m. onwards, we tried contacting the hosts using all three phone numbers provided, but unfortunately, no one answered. As a result, our group of three couples had to spend the entire night without air conditioning during a heatwave, with only one functioning fan available. Some of us had to spend the night sleeping in the car with the air conditioning turned on, due to medical reasons (as also witnessed and discussed by booking.com customer service). The issue was only resolved the following morning when a company employee arrived to empty the coin meter. Given the inconvenience and the fact that the accommodation’s advertised facilities were unavailable for the first night, we requested a refund for one night’s stay. Unfortunately, this request was declined, and no compensation was offered.
