There was no breakfast at property and there was nothing was left for us. Not even milk. Yes we had all facilities but no cereals or no milk nothing.

Not easy to find in dark as not many signs or names of farm so we had to ask the local person in car of where it is.

Location and views were excellent. House was comfortable and the rooms were spacious and cute.

The house could be cleaner and some amenities could be provided, e.g. the shower gel was empty.

A lovely peaceful spot, an old quirky house full of character, with comfortable beds. A woodfired hot tub and amazing views over the surrounding countryside.

We were warned the water pressure was weak when multiple users used water at the same time, this meant the water pressure was low, and occasionally stopped mid shower. The hot tub took several hours to heat up, more than the 2-3 hours advised, but once it was hot it was fabulous. It was not as private as we expected, as guests from the small cottage wandered up around the garden as there were no signs to indicate borders. Also the owner arrived unannounced to 'map the garden' with a robotic mower, and didn't identify himself as the owner. We arrived by train and found taxis difficult to get unless booked far in advance. The house is an hours walk to the centre of Pitlochry either through a wooded path (which was lovely), but challenging for anyone with mobility issues, or on a dangerous windy road.
