Amazing location and spacious apartment with everything we needed for a 3 night stay. The windows of the property could be closed very well, which made us have a great night’s sleep as we heard no noise from the busy streets. The air conditioner and all appliances also worked very well.

Upon check-in the property first asked for us to send in photos of us holding our identification, which is completely unacceptable and this sort of documentation should never be asked from anyone for a hotel stay. Thankfully they did not push for this, otherwise I would have cancelled my stay. The apartment was quite old with many new refurbishments and installations that worked well, but some of the areas still downgraded the entire apartment’s interior. The walls were quite dirty in the bedroom and the bathroom shower did not seem well cleaned. There was also some dust in the bedroom and the bed panel was all scratched up. The pillows were too big and hard - could not sleep with them at all. The entrance door to the apartment seemed a little shady, but the entrance door to the entire property gave a bit more feeling for safety. The hairdryer could not be used in the bathroom as there was no plug-in that was accepting it. The apartment needs a bit more improvement and kitchen towels. The terrace could use an outdoor umbrella, as we could not enjoy it as it was raining.

The location was amazing. 10 mimnute walk to Ponte Vecchio and right opposite Pitti Palace. We particularly enjoyed the little private terrace to have a coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Plenty of trattorias and osterias to choose from literally outside the building. Loved tge coffee machine, superb! The lift was a fabulous experience by itself! Loved it. There was no WiFi when we arrived. Contacted the hosts who advised it was an area wide problem but was remedied within an hour.

We were not advised that Florence has a specific plug adapter needed different to most of Europe. You have to be really careful when sitting on the sofa bed, one of the joints sticks out.
