We spent 4 nights at the apartment with our 2 year old son and were very satisfied with our pick. The apartment is very nice, clean, comfortable and overall feels quite cozy. It is a good choice for families as it is well-equipped and everything that we needed was available to us. The apartment is located in a nice quiet neighborhood with plenty of greenery and several playgrounds close by. Still, the historical city center can be quickly reached by tram, located just a block away. Communication with owner was stellar; they were hepful and quick to respond, which we appreciated.

The apartment is located in a low-emission zone of Magdeburg which we were not aware of and which should be ideally mentioned somewhere in the listing. Coming by car from abroad, this turned out to be a last minute issue – as we did not have time to obtain the required permit from German authorities, we were forced to park at the closest place outside the zone and carry our luggage for approximately 600 meters.
