The Botanical Flat 1

Gostei de tudo e me surpreendi com a limpeza, qualidade do colchão, travesseiros e roupas de cama e banho. Tudo muito organizado e equipado.

Location perfect. No breakfast served. Parking is pretty easy too.

The windows had to be left open to get air ventilation … it was hot and stuffy but very glad weather was cooler at night. Fans helped but there was one fan upstairs in the bedroom next to the toilet that wasn’t working.

Location was excellent - a walk away to supermarkets and cafes so close by. Such a lovely area and we loved the botanical gardens! The house was clean, communication was excellent with the team and hosts. Traffic noise was not that loud with windows shut - slept great, beds super comfy.

Maybe generally kitchen, toilet supplies could have been better stocked? e.g. loo roll, dishwasher tabs. but no other complaints!

The apartment itself (interior) was excellent - spacious rooms, comfortable beds, all facilities we needed. (although it was very noisy due to traffic but guess that cannot be helped)

Car parking was a bit of a joke to be honest. When we booked through Booking.com it stated there was free parking both at the apartment and across the road at the nearby shopping area. When we arrived the host had left us a note to state that there were 2 free parking spaces outside the apartment on a 'first come first served basis', yet the cars that were parked there never moved the 6 days we were there. As for parking in the remainder of the street, this was available if you paid but only for a maximum of 2 hours (or 4 hours if you went further up the hill) - however, you could not extend this time and it stated there was no return available that day after your parking expired, so essentially we had to move the car every 2 hours. The car park at the shopping area was only free for 30 mins, then payable, so the advertising of free parking is very wrong. The street itself is paid parking unless you have a parking permit. the surrounding streets were fully permit holders only so they were not an option either. Maybe it would be an idea to have a parking permit made available for people renting the property, or maybe state that if the 'free parking spaces outside the apartment' are for the apartment use then maybe they should have a sign or something stating this to stop anyone else parking there? The television inside the property (the only television in the apartment) did not actually play live tv - you could only watch via an app. The check out conditions state that check out is 10am. However, on the day of departure, we received a knock at the door at 9.40am. It was the host expecting us to be away by then. She then proceeded to stand right outside the door with all her cleaning stuff until we vacated the property, which was 9.58am. We really did not expect to feel rushed in this way and that put a real dampener on our experience of the property.
