Gorgeous little cottage in a delightful location. Perfect for my small family. Lack of wifi was great!

Loved the natural bush setting, & outlook. The weather was cold, but as we were in & out quite a lot, we didn’t light a fire, but used electric heaters at night. The sun filled the cottage during the day, so we had no need to use heating. The cottage as the name implied was indeed very charming. Loved the coastal theme, with lots of collectables & memorabilia. Old photographs added to the charm. Lots of books, games & such. Beds were very comfortable, with plenty of bedding.

A clothes airer would have been a huge benefit, so as to dry clothes in the sun on back verandah. The clothes line was in shade, & the lines dirty & needing to be washed. Wicker clothes basket very old with dead leaves & twigs in it. No pegs. Despite having a hand wash bottle in bathroom, there was virtually no hand wash in it. Also one toilet roll plus 2 almost empty ones not enough for 3 people for 4 days. On arrival, everything looked neat & tidy, but cupboards that we needed to open, had empty toilet rolls in them, random coat hangers, a pillow was on the vacuum cleaner, kitchen drawers had crumbs, some utensils quite dirty, & sets of crockery stacked all over the place, mismatched & in different cupboards. (Didn’t realise this till last day… just used all odd ones from one cupboard.) Oh and… no wifi ☹️
