About this house rental
6 Bedroom/3 Bathroom dog friendly Lake house that sleeps up to 16! Amenities include: Pool (with Inflatables), Hot Tub, Fire Pit (wood included), Kayaks, Canoe, Fishing gear, Corn Hole Game… and so much more!
Our Lake house is tucked into a quiet cove in the esteemed Cages Bend area of Hendersonville. TN. Wake up to the natural beauty of life on Old Hickory Lake each morning and spend your time enjoying all this property has to offer.
Once booked you will receive a welcome email from the property manager, Seth. You will also receive information about things to do and places to go right before your stay. The day of, you will receive check-in/out instructions. At any time, if there is any questions, you will have a direct communication with Seth via, phone, text or email, whichever is best for you!
Hendersonville is a lovely upper middle class community of about 62,000 residents. It's known for lakefront living, boating, tournament fishing, excellent public education and it's close proximity to Nashville.
There is a free public boat ramp about 1/4 mile from the home for you to launch your watercraft.
We are very interested in renting to Families on Vacation, Groups of mature couples and friends who are respectful and responsible and/or anyone else who will be respectful of our house rules.
This is not a Party House! We do not allow bachelor or bachelorette parties. No loud music, excessive noise or unruly behavior. This is not the rental for those activities.
We wish to cater to mature, respectful and responsible groups of guests. Please inquire and tell us about your yourself, the other people in your group and your purpose for renting our Lake House.
If you wish to bring a pet, please disclose those intentions in a message to us… dog(s) will almost certainly be approved, but we do need to communicate some rules for owners to follow.
A vehicle will be required to get around. Uber or Lyft are popular options if you do not wish to drive.
Swimming pool is covered and closed seasonally from mid October through mid April.

Pros: The kitchen was big and plenty of seating room for our group. The bedrooms were as described and the Master Bedroom was especially nice. Seth, the property manager, was responsive. The pool was a big plus! We loved the pool and the hot tub! The location was great. We were close to everything, and we even ventured into Nashville for the Johnny Cash Museum, dinner at The Aquarium, and the Grand Ole Opry. Cons: The neighbor is hypersensitive about anyone being on his property. He must have cameras because when the 10 year old boy with us accidentally got a fish hook stuck on his dock and we went to retrieve it, he came out really upset that we were on his property. The refrigerator in the kitchen is older, and the meat/vegetable drawers are loose and won't stay in place. There was a need for some minor repairs on the house. We had some trouble getting the TVs to work, but finally figured them out. We didn't feel comfortable swimming off the dock. We could see some sticks and debris in the water.

Our family of 6 adults and 4 children thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is nicely equipped. We enjoyed the pool floats and games and the kayaks were a nice bonus. A huge selection of life jackets was a nice addition. The location was perfect. Close to attractions yet in a nice, quiet neighborhood. So many trees provide privacy from neighbors. Seth was an exceptional host. He quickly responded to messages and provided helpful information throughout the visit. (Ie: garbage pickup and pool cleaning services)

Our family of 14 spent a long family reunion weekend at this Old Hickory Lake House.The property is amazing! There was ample room for all our sleeping requirements.The kitchen layout was perfect for cooking and enjoying family meals and celebrations together. We spent a good deal of time in the pool and jacuzzi, and fishing on Lake Hickory. All the amenities this house has to offer made our stay that much more enjoyable. The house was well stocked with nice linens, towels, hand soap, Kleenex and toilet paper. Seth, the property manager was easy to communicate with, and made the check-in process seamless. There was also plenty of room to park multiple vehicles and two boat trailers in the large circular driveway. The family witnessed a vast array of native wildlife both on the property and out on the lake. The house is located in an ideal setting. It offers peace and tranquility and easy access to the city. Rent this house and you will have it all!

We give this property the highest recommendation. Every detail big and small was perfect. Our family was ecstatic. Wonderful accommodations. Fantastic for large families. We had 10 adults and 5 young kids. Pool, lake access, proximity to Nashville We could not be happier.
