The upper-level great room looks straight down on waves crashing at Haystack’s base and seabirds soaring around its crown. This clean, bright, modern space is graced with hardwood flooring, a high vaulted ceiling, inset lighting, spare yet beautiful décor, and sophisticated extras guaranteed to make your stay special. The living room has a gas fireplace, a large TV, a white canvas sofa, and a large daybed/sofa perfect for relaxing and browsing the selection of books or playing the home’s guitar. Secondary seating faces west for ocean views, as does a work desk for writing or catching up on some loose ends at work. The house is absolutely beautiful! The pictures dont do it justice. The living room area and kitchen are amazing! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need! The view is spectacular... there is no better view in Cannon Beach! The rooms are very nice, with comfy beds. The bathrooms are nice and well stocked with little toiletries. It is so lovely and incredibly quiet. It is located super close to town and a Safeway is a 10 minute drive away if needed. But there are plenty of little grocery stores just a quick walk away as For the negatives- the thermostat was locked and the air NEVER turned on. It was on a permanant hold. There were a couple of days where the thermostat showed 76 degrees during the day and the air never kicked on. I reached out to the mgmt team through vrbo for help and we spent the entire 5 days going back and forth with no resolution. I was told to open windows for air flow. That is fine, but I certainly couldnt leave windows and doors open at night while I slept. When I tried to do that, I was killing multiple spiders every day in the home. The thermostat never got below 71, even on the cooler nights. And most times it was 73 or 74, which was pretty stuffy without any fans. Lastly, 2 men showed up for window washing. I would've appreciated a heads up about this. I was by myself and got really nervous about 2 men knocking on the door. They could easily see in on the top floor. And i wasnt sure if it was even legit. All quiet otherwise!

The location is fantastic, the view from the house magnificent. We entertained ourselves for hours from the house just watching the ocean, birds and even elk a few times. The house is exactly as portrayed in the listing. We would stay again!
