About this cabin rental
This charming Blue Lake Springs Chalet is a perfect get away for a relaxing vacation with family, friends or just the two of you! Easy central location for skiing, snowboarding, hiking, swimming, biking, kayaking, and golfing. Less than 15 minutes from Big Trees State Park, Arnold Rim Trail, White Pines Lake, 22 miles to Bear Valley Ski Resort, and 11 miles from Murphy’s wine tasting, dining & shopping! Split level cabin boasts views, wraparound deck, privacy, teen game room, BBQ-firepit & tons of amenities!
It's a wonderful space to call home for a few days! Enjoy the simple things, or be adventurous. The space is 3 levels, with 2 large bedrooms on the top level, full bath and laundry. Main floor has a private master bedroom-bath suite and small writing desk, that opens out to the wraparound deck. Downstairs is a large teen/kids room with futon bed, air mattress, TV/Roku, and fooseball table. Tons of games, puzzles, cards to play and enjoy movie nights, or sit out in the deck and watch the sunrise or sunset, fire-pit while BBQing! We love the nature all around, tons of privacy and just peaceful ambiance amidst Mother Nature. The kitchen is fully stocked, and has plenty of baking dishes (if you love to bake like we do), dishwasher, convection oven and full oven, espresso machine nook, and large dining table. Warm and inviting living room with lots of natural light, and wood-burning fireplace. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Wishing you a wonderful stay and beautiful memories to be made.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to all premises of the cabin. Walk in closet in Master bedroom has owner's stuff and is generally locked.
BLS Recreation Center access is included (about 5 minute drive). It has swimming pool, gym, restaurant, playground, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, basketball courts, bocce ball, ping pong tables and swimable lake with picnic areas all accessible from May-September. Some parts (Gym and Restaurant) are open year round.
Important things to note:
Cell phone coverage can be spotty! Verizon works well near the cabin, however ATT has no service.
Snow - the cabin is located at 4,000 feet altitude so snow may accumulate. Be careful when going into/out of the driveway or stairway. We make every attempt to have the driveway plowed prior to your arrival, however there is no guarantee snow removal will happen prior to your arrival. In this case, you will be responsible for clearing a spot for your vehicle and path to the cabin.
Other things to note:
Our cabin is equipped with security cameras, facing the front yard/driveway, the main entrance, and shed.
Market within minutes (Big Trees Market and Dollar General)
Some great restaurants nearby. Bistro Cafe is great for breakfast!
About 1.5 hours to Yosemite, and 2 hours from Lake Tahoe.
There may be deers or family of bears spotted occasionally as we are in their habitat, so please use caution as needed.

"The owner was very responsive. Always love a code to access a house. There are a ton of stairs (as clearly stated) to get up to the top.
