The Queen Mary is stunning. We loved exploring the ship during our stay.The front desk was swamped during check in, yet the entire process was smooth and efficient. We gladly accepted two certificates for a free glass of champagne offered at check in. There are dining options onboard, we chose an Uber for a short ride into downtown Long Beach for dinner. The close proximity to the Carnival Cruise Terminal was our main motivation for staying at the Queen Mary, but our love of history and antiques made this a bucket list type stay.
