Welcome to Parkside Retreat, a spacious 5-bedroom, 2-bath home just two blocks from Myrick Park. Whether you're visiting family, meeting up with friends, or coming to La Crosse for an event, this home gives you plenty of room to relax and reconnect.
The open main floor is bright and inviting, with a cozy living area, large sectional, and a 65" 4K Smart TV with Netflix included. The fully stocked kitchen has clearly labeled cupboards and everything you need to share meals together without the usual “where is that?” scavenger hunt.
Every bedroom is set up for comfort, featuring Helix mattresses and clearly listed sleeping arrangements:
- Bedroom 1 (Main Floor): King bed
- Bedroom 2 (Upper Level): King bed + dedicated workspace
- Bedroom 3 (Upper Level): Full bed
- Bedroom 4 (Lower Level): King bed
- Bedroom 5 (Lower Level): Queen bed
Outside, the fully fenced yard is a favorite hangout spot for both families and friend groups — complete with a fire pit, Adirondack chairs, grill, and two decks. It’s an easy place to unwind after a day of exploring, celebrating, or catching up with people you love.
With keyless entry, high-speed Wi-Fi, private parking (including a 1-car garage), and in-home laundry, the home is designed for a comfortable, stress-free stay. Guests often tell us they wish they had stayed just a little longer.

The house was wonderfully remodeled. Excellent use of space. Every necessity available. Plenty of room, spacious inside. Decorated for the holidays. Very comfortable and a personalized welcome for us.

House is older but has been updated and was clean. Beds were comfortable. Host supplied several snacks which was appreciated. Neighborhood was quiet.

Wow! This is such a great place! Well stocked, beautiful, and clean! Our family of 5 adults, 3 kids and 2 dogs stayed very comfortably. Loved all the extras. This is by far the best experience we have had with VRBO. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here!
