About this space
We recently carved out a one bedroom apartment from our Mediterranean home. The apartment has plenty of natural light with a full kitchen, bath, living and dining is located on the side of our house that has spectacular views of the city.
We have lived in our South Hill home for 32 years .....It is a magical property that is wooded, quiet and private. We are walking distance to the Perry District, Manito Park, coffee shops and restraunts as well as only a few miles from downtown.
The space
As you walk into the apartment there is a large window providing a beautiful wooded area.
To the left is a table where I have enjoyed drinks in front of the fireplace looking out the window.
To the right is a couch where guests can relax and watch TV.
Further down is the full kitchen with all new appliances, coffee maker, coffee, dishes, etc all you need to cook and relax.
The full bath is all new and the bedroom comes with a large closet and dresser along with a very comfortable queen size bed.
We live in our home most of the time and also have our home available for people to rent. The apartment is on the ground level with a lock that separates it from the main floor of our home. The washer and dryer are in an area of the basement that is outside of the apartment. When we have renters, we avoid using our washer and dryer. However, if someone stays a week or longer, we will need to schedule a day that we can use the washer and dryer.
We invite guests to enjoy our balcony with amazing views of the city.

This apartment met and exceeded all of our expectations. It is close to several great activities: Perry Street Farmer’s Market, pubs, cafes, and bakeries.
We found our time in this apartment to be peaceful, quiet, and comfortable. It was like being in our own home. Topping that off were the phenomenal sunsets.

It was a good one bedroom Manhattan style Apt, in a home.
The Neighborhood was nice and quiet. The Apt was furnished well, the kitchen area excellent
Only flaw would be the speed it took for the Apt to heat up. There were extra blankets. The area is convenient to the whole city within 20 minutes.
