About this house rental
There are two houses on the property, close enough for everyone to gather easily yet with enough space for quiet naps or downtime. Together, they welcome up to 16 guests, making it perfect for big family holidays, reunions, birthdays, or trips with friends. Kids can splash in the heated pool, adults can relax with a barbecue under the trees, and everyone can enjoy long meals outdoors surrounded by forest.

Although it feels peaceful and private, we’re not isolated: the property is reached by a 1 km driveway off a small country road, just 10 minutes from Azay-le-Rideau and 20 minutes from Tours. The nearest village, Saché (3 km), has everything you need for daily life and a bit of culture too: a bakery for warm croissants, a café, a Sunday market, a post office, and even a wonderful restaurant (Auberge du XIIᵉ Siècle). Saché is also famous as the home of the writer Balzac and the American sculptor Alexander Calder.
From here, families can easily explore the very best of the Loire Valley without long drives: the royal châteaux (Chenonceau, Chambord, Azay-le-Rideau, Ussé…), troglodyte cave houses, canoeing or fishing on the Loire and Indre rivers, family-friendly restaurants, and beautiful vineyards. Popular attractions like Clos Lucé (Leonardo da Vinci’s home), Mini-Châteaux Park, the Touraine Aquarium, and the Beauval Zoo are all less than 40 minutes away.
There’s truly something for everyone: pony and horse rides, golf, water-skiing, tennis, forest walks, or simply playing in the garden and soaking up the sunshine in a calm and safe setting.
Our main 17th-century farmhouse faces south and looks out toward a small 12th-century church. It’s full of character yet offers all the essentials families need for a great holiday. The second house, “Les Écuries,” sleeps 4 more guests and is ideal for grandparents, teens, or another family.
We’re proud to offer a place where kids have space to run and play, adults can relax, and everyone can make memories together in a beautiful and historical environment.
Note: Linen (€10/person) and cleaning (€170) are mandatory and due on arrival.
