Lossi Old Town apartment with sauna

Location; apartment was really beautiful and roomy; separate entrance; lounging area in sunny room; AC.

We booked a 2-bedroom apartment specifically because we needed two separate sleeping areas. Unfortunately, the apartment we received had only ONE actual bedroom — there was simply no second bedroom in the apartment. One of us therefore had to sleep on the sofa, which was not comfortable at all. We can see that the booking may show the second “bedroom” as a sofa/sleeping area, but even in that case, the sofa was not properly prepared for sleeping. There were no extra pillows, duvet, blanket or proper bed linen provided for it. If a sofa is advertised as the second sleeping area, we would expect it to be equipped accordingly and actually usable as a bed. The apartment itself is REALLY beautiful and, on first impression, feels very luxurious. However, the actual facilities and basic amenities did not match either the description or the price. There are two bathrooms, yet hand towels were provided in only one bathroom, and that towel was extremely small. There were no additional towels for using the sauna, and each person was given only one shower towel. There were no separate hair towels either. For an apartment of this price and standard, this felt surprisingly inadequate. The biggest issue, however, remains the sleeping arrangements. Paying the price of a 2-bedroom apartment and then having one person sleep on an uncomfortable sofa without proper sleeping amenities is simply not acceptable. Unfortunately, despite how beautiful the apartment itself is, the stay was quite disappointing because the accommodation did not meet the expectations created by the booking. At this price, we could have booked a genuine 2-bedroom apartment or even two separate rooms in Tartu, with much more appropriate sleeping arrangements and amenities. Beautiful apartment, but unfortunately poor value for money and, most importantly, the sleeping arrangements and amenities did not match what we expected from the booking.

Groot en luxe vakantiehuis, chique ingericht en heel compleet. Het heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. De ligging in het oude centrum en de eigen parkeerplaats zijn een grote plus. Klein zitje om buiten te kunnen zitten erbij: top! Hele mooie ruime sauna.

Door de grootte is het huis wat minder sfeervol (maar misschien is het meer voor grotere gezelschappen geschikt en lag dat aan ons). Verder misten we in het huis wat informatie over het huis: gebruik kookplaat, afval wegbrengen. Geen echte minpunten!
