Edelweiss - Maison dOc

La casa ha tutto il necessario, non è nuovissima ma non manca nulla. Ottimo il divano letto e anche ombrellone e sdraio nuovi. Ottima anche la comunicazione con l’ host.

La trascuratezza del giardino, da’ un senso di abbandono quando si arriva ed è un peccato perché lo spazio esterno di questa casa ha del potenziale. Noi abbiamo tolto un po’ di erbacce e ci siamo goduti il fresco.

A nice, small, clean two-storey apartment, with a lovely little garden nearby where you can have lunch in the sun even in winter. I was there at the end of February, and in the sun it was around 18–20 degrees Celsius. For skiers, the only inconvenience is the town itself, since you need to take a bus to get to the lifts if you didn’t arrive by car. The bus runs about once an hour, which is not very convenient.

I can mention a few minor negative points. I was missing a couple of things which, in my opinion, should be provided in an apartment from the start. First, trash bags. In my case, I bought some and left them there so that the next guests could use them. Second, dishwashing liquid. I also bought it and left it for future guests. The third thing that truly surprised me was the absence of a traditional Italian stovetop coffee maker (moka pot). In Italy, that was quite unexpected. I bought one myself and left it there for future guests. I hope it remains part of the kitchen equipment, because not finding a moka pot in Italy was genuinely surprising.

It was near the station. It was warm and cosy when we got there which was welcoming.

We struggled to get into the house. Some directions on how the lock works would have been useful ( eg 6 turns clockwise to unlick) No bedside lights Shower curtain needs some attention
