Kian's Place

Probably the nicest room I have stayed in at this price point in many months throughout Asia. The hosts are very lovely, and extremely helpful and accommodating. Nice neighborhood. The accommodation has everything one needs: balcony, shared kitchen (between just two rooms), washer. The aesthetic is gorgeous, nicer than the pictures.

Es war die beste Unterkunft die wir auf unserer sri lanka reise hatten. Alles ist sehr sauber uns geräumig sowie stilvoll eingerichtet. Ein Highlight ist der schöne Balkon. Der empfang war super freundlich und wir haben viele nützliche Infos und Tipps erhalten sowie immer eine antwort auf unsere fragen. Wir konnten auch einen roller ausleihen was sehr unkompliziert und flexibel war.

Honnêtement, je n’ai pas les mots suffisants pour décrire notre séjour chez Kian’s Place. Tout était parfait. Le cadre est idyllique et ne manque de rien, mais ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus magique est l’attention des hôtes qui faisait vraiment plaisir à voir. Ils ont été aux petits soins du début à la fin, le cœur sur la main et toujours pleins de recommandations ou là pour nous aider. Nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps et nous espérons pouvoir revenir au plus vite. 🫶🏻

This family run homestay has it all. Friendly greetings complete with an ice cold coconut and cake from the family bakery on arrival. The room was excellent. High wooden ceiling, large comfortable bed and spacious bathroom as well as a choice of fan or AC that really worked. The kitchen area on your level has gas to cook , a fridge and washing machine. A balcony overlooks a quiet street and the locals are friendly. Everything is squeaky clean and well presented. The property has complimentary bikes for trips to the beach or nearby cafes and hires scooters for trips further afield. The best part is the true warmth and connections made with the family. Shared conversations and laughter. By far our best stay in Sri Lanka. Do yourself a favour and check it out for yourself.

This property has everything you will need for a relaxing stay. Safe and secure.
