Carmello ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der die Gäste herzlich empfängt und umsorgt. Das Frühstück ist herrlich mit lokalen Produkten sowohl in herzhafter wie süßer Richtung. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel mit allem ausgestattet; das alte, gut renovierte und modernisierte Haus steht in einem sehr schönen Garten. Der Gastgeber hat sehr hilfreiche Ratschläge für Restaurants, Ausflüge und Unternehmungen in die Umgegend. Die Reservierung für die Abendessen hat Carmello für uns übernommen. Er spricht fließend Englisch, die Kommunikation war daher für uns sehr einfach.

We had a wonderful stay and ended up spending a full week here. It was the perfect base for exploring the region and discovering its many charming villages and hidden gems. The host was absolutely fantastic! Every morning he prepared breakfast for us, and those breakfasts became one of the highlights of our stay. We enjoyed great conversations around the table, discussing everything from local life to how to make the world a better place. He also gave us excellent recommendations on where to go and what to see, which helped us experience the area like locals rather than tourists. The house itself deserves special mention. It has been beautifully and thoughtfully renovated with great taste and confidence, perfectly respecting the character and history of the original building while offering all the modern comforts one could wish for. The balance between authenticity and comfort was simply exceptional. We slept incredibly well every night. Despite the hot weather, our room remained pleasantly cool and fresh, allowing us to rest deeply after each day of exploring. The beautiful countryside, together with its sounds, scents, and peaceful atmosphere, was genuinely restorative for both body and mind. The surroundings felt authentic, tranquil, and full of character. The entire area feels like a hidden secret of Italy – authentic, welcoming, and untouched by mass tourism. The people we met were friendly, hospitable, and had a great sense of humor. By the end of our stay, we had made several new friends and acquaintances, which made the experience even more special. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic Italian experience, warm hospitality, and a peaceful retreat in beautiful surroundings. We would gladly return.

Fantastic location. The house, our rooms, the garden and the views are beautiful. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was excellent. Our host, Carmelo, made us very welcome. It was lovely to have a glass of wine with him and a chat when we arrived. He made us a wonderful breakfast, and we enjoyed his hospitality in the morning, too. He gave us lots of information about the rea and the many places to visit locally. It's a great place if you want to experience authentic Italian countryside - it's very peaceful and great if you like nature.

That we only booked for one night! We could easily spend a week. It would make a great base to see the surrounding area. We hope to return for a longer stay.
