Emi’s Place Container Living

Emi's Place is my go to for the greatest value in lodging when I'm visiting Uvita. I've stayed at Emi's three times for a total of close to a month of evenings. The rooms are super clean, the kitchenette with a more than ample fridge, furnished just right to cook, relax and also take a plunge in the tropical oasis pool - are all simply exceptional. The bed is extremely comfortable for a restful night of sleep to recharge and take on the jungle to the playa the next morning. This is not a full service Marriott! This is Emi's Place. I love it there!

The entry gate is a bit difficult to open but I have arthritic hands and that is on my end. I'm getting older and there is not much I can do about that.

Good price, convenient and clean. Comfortable also, has a kitchen and a fridge.

The mirror is too high. I have to raise my chin to shave, and I'm 6'7". The blanket (not the sheets, though) had a little odor, needed washing.

I go there for work in the area, it's an excellent option for price(value ratio). Good shower, hot water, a kitchenette, a little tight, but it works just fine for one or two people.

It's a little tight, so where you put your things is key. But it's doable. The bathroom mirrors are to high. I consider myself medium height (5 feet 8") and I have to raise my chin to see it when I shave. Just so Gregory -the admin- knows! I've been in about 4 or 5 different rooms there during the years, and they're all the same height. They need to lower them at least 6-10". The taller guests will still be able to see themselves. BTW, the photo I posted is of a view nearby, not from the hotel itself. Just so you know!

Pour commencer, la femme de ménage, de 1, ne parle pas un mot d’anglais, et de 2, elle a été fâchée et bête avec nous durant tout notre séjour car nous lui avons demandé de changer des draps DEGUEULASSES et qu’elle a dû rester plus tard pour ça. Par la suite, nous avons dû changer de chambre 3 fois afin d’obtenir quelque chose qui correspondait aux standards mis dans l’annonce. Enfin, comme nous sommes resté 5 nuits ici, le ménage était compris dans notre service tel que mentionné, mais comme la femme de ménage nous a boudée, elle n’est jamais venue laver quoi que ce soit. Nous avons dû demander du papier de toilettes à 3 reprises et des sacs de poubelles. Okay pour le prix, mais nous étions heureux de partir
