Fantastische ligging direct aan het meer.

Twee verdiepingen vond ik ongemakkelijk maar verder heel mooi appartement.

Direkt am See und ruhig gelegen. Großer Pool, saubere Ferienwohnung mit Parkplatz. Persönliche Schlüsselübergabe. Der Gastgeber war stets hilfsbereit und hat sich nach unserem Befinden erkundigt.

Eine mobile Klimaanlage (Schlauch aus geöffneten Fenster) ist zwar vorhanden. Sie ist aber laut und kühlt nicht ausreichend. Beim Einbau einer richtigen Klimaanlage wäre die Ferienwohnung perfekt.

Pros: + Host: The landlord was always very helpful, attentive, and the key handover was completely hassle-free. + Location & Cleanliness: Beautiful location very close to the lake with a great view. The apartment was clean. The interior is dated, but OKish.

Cons: Pool harassment by permanent residents: The pool rules are not disclosed beforehand and are very restrictive. The pool is practically unusable for children - e.g. diving is strictly forbidden. Some of thr permanent residents act like self-appointed rule enforcers; they literally lie in wait to police and report minor violation by tourists. Children are unwelcome here. Arbitrary rules: Two days before our departure, a new rule was randomly invented in the middle of the day and put up on a notice board: swimming is only allowed with a swim cap. The worst part: the permanent residents completely ignored their own rule and swam without caps, while we guests should comply. Pure double standards and harassment. Air conditioning: The A/C unit is underpowered for the summer heat and fails to cool the rooms properly. No alternative at the lake: The beach section right outside the property is unfortunately totally neglected. It is littered with broken glass, cigarette butts, and other trash. It is impossible to spend multiple days there with children as an alternative instead of using the restricted pool area. Verdict: If you are traveling with children, I recommend to stay away from this complex unless you want your vacation ruined by a toxic atmosphere and arbitrary bans. Rules are okay and have to be followed as long as they help keep things in an order. But this rule set should be known before booking. It might be acceptable for solo travelers or couples who just want to float quietly in the pool wearing a swim cap and don't mind strict rules.
