Location is close to a coffee shop and easy walking distance to the walk along the river. The gate access makes the property feel safe (I could leave the bedroom sliding door open during the night). The patio seating outside was lovely for morning coffee.
We missed the entry gate the first time we drove by. Only one bathroom has a "normal" shower, although the second tub is designed for someone who is handicapped, so that could be a benefit.

The area was quiet and felt secluded, despite being off a major road. We didn’t need the kitchen and outside area due to the nature of our visit, but they were nice and spacious. The unit even included a set of utensils for the grill.
The front porch would have been lovely, but it was incredibly hot due to the sun — and it didn’t even reach 80 degrees while we were there. It didn’t feel usable during the summer months.

We loved staying at the Blue House. The house has everything you need to cook at home if you want, including a grill. It is super safe and quiet, with efficient a/c. Everything was spotless, and our hosts were very responsive, and right nearby. Nice decor, but not fancy or oppressive. There is a big Fred Meyer right up the road, and it was a great base for us as we attended the Oregon Bach Festival. We didn’t need it at this level, but the house is very well equipped for people with mobility issues - we appreciate it!
Everything was good. People should be aware that it will be tight for more than three people.
