The fireplace was my favourite thing. The sofa and chair were both so comfortable and great for lounging. We both slept very well in the double beds. I was very happy to see feather pillows and good quality bedding. I enjoyed listening to the birds when waking up as there were a lot of birds in the lovely garden. The space in the cottage was perfect and I really liked the lived in comfortable feel of the place.
The staircase is not for everyone, quite steep and if you are over 6 foot you are likely to bump your head on a couple of doorframes. The bathroom ceiling was also very low.
