Fantastic property and room

Location was a bit removed - since we didn’t have a car. But there was a foot bridge across the motorway to a lovely restaurant

The apartment is well equipped with necessary facilities.

The building is like located in open area. It was very windy outside the house.

I like that they could cater for gluten free. The staff were all so lovely, especially Isabelle. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a washing machine. Excellent for grabbing a scooter and getting into town. Very safe. Warm and had air con and hot water.

The sofa could be comfier and I didn't ducking to get into bed (low ceiling!). The caviar was weird too. Could have done with washing powder & more body wash.

Clean as most of the time. I book units at waterfront cabins frequently and it’s almost always clean. It has what you need for a short stay.

The staff in the reception sometimes are not professional. The app is not working well. This time the Modem was broken and since the reception staff were not nice and professional i decided not to call them . In the morning I noticed that the shower was broken and 6:30 am getting ready to be in the office on time I didn’t call them! I have noticed that they normally don’t check the cabins and don’t maintain them well, they only clean them! I also had broken window locks once!

Staff is really friendly and helped me a lot resolving some small requests very quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend this place for both long and short stays

Could use a more comfortable love seat/sofa

Bed was very comfortable and the facilities were good.

we were charged to check in an hour early which was a little disappointing given the room was free, although not unexpected. The shower was also broken too which made it a little less comfortable.

My second time staying here and I will continue coming back. It works - it’s close to the bus stop to downtown, also possible to walk to the centre via the bridge (a lovely stroll with nice views of the water!), it’s quiet, the apartments are lovely and the staff is amazing. I stayed here a month and I was sad to leave - ends up feeling very homey.

the view asked about it to reception they just said could not do any thing I came home early as weather was not nice and I wanted a view as shown on the advert sat looking at a wall is not nice sorry

In theory, Waterfront Cabins is a great place to stay. You get your own self-contained accommodation not far from the city centre (40 minutes’ walk to central station), and it’s reasonably priced.

You need to download an app to unlock the studio door – not good if you’re short of data, get locked out without your phone etc. The studios aren’t necessarily very clean (mine stank of ??fish?? and when I tried to trace the smell, I discovered a heap of rubbish behind the sofa) and many things are already worn/rickety (the toilet seat wobbled, the blind cords felt flimsy and many of the finishes are poor). The ceiling height upstairs is far too low – I could only just stand upright at the highest point, and I’m only 174 cm. The electronics are a joke. The hob works on a timer, but the timer switch looks like a light switch, is unmarked and nowhere near the hob. The a/c unit doesn’t seem to heat the room. And the small fan by the bed made a noise like a very loud hairdryer, for 55 minutes out of every hour. All day and all night. The first night I was so tired I fell asleep anyway, but once I’d woken in the middle of the night I couldn’t get back to sleep. There seemed to be no buttons or controls that did anything, but reception finally told me you can just pull the casing off and switch it off using a previously inaccessible switch underneath. Why didn’t I think of that? The entire area is being redeveloped – not the property owner’s fault – so walking from the city centre you have to cross a wilderness of construction fencing with very little lighting. Many rooms are being used as permanent accommodation by more or less unsavoury people – which obviously *is* the property owner’s fault. As a solo female, I felt like approaching the property after dark wasn’t entirely safe, so I had to change my plans for the evenings. I feel sorry for the people working here, as they probably deal with the same complaints/queries over and over. Maybe that’s why Reception isn’t marked on any of the maps?

Had everything you'd possibly need for a stay, from utensils to washing facilities. Super clean, great staff, all round top gaff!

You get everything you need for your stay. Tiny, modest and well thought of, the IKEA design style. The A/C works in case you need it, there is a nice view of the river.

The whole area under reconstruction, the door opening through an application in your mobile makes you think what happens if something goes wrong.

Route, which is from bus station to apartment, is non-asphalt and under construction.

Room came with bedding, towels, washing machine, ironing board as standard (some places in Sweden, we learned, you have to pay extra for towels and bed sheets). We were a 5-10 minute walk from the bus stop. It was then 10 minutes into the centre.

It was a little further to walk than we expected in once we get within the compound. The app was a bit faffy.

The property is in a nice location, if you go to the top floors, the view is very nice. The apartment is very practical, well-equipped and clean. The bus stop is nearby, also there is a bike-rental stop for Styr & Ställ Bike.

The app to get into the apartment was not working on the phone I made the booking with (Android). I switched to my work phone (ios) and managed to activate it with the text going to my private phone, so we managed to solve it, but it would have been a problem if I didn't have another phone handy. I guess you can always go to the reception for help though, in case you have issues. There is a lot of construction going on.

Would have been nice to have a view& not a corner room. I had to keep the blinds down for privacy

Nice cosy place with a lot of students staying there since Gothenburg is a University Town. The cabin itself was neat with all amenities for a two day stay. The staff was Super helpful and at our service for 24 hours. They even helped us to checkin using a key card, though they have a keyless based app.

A bit far off from the city centre and only bus service was available to get into town. We even had to download the app to book the local bus tickets. Cabs are frightfully expensive.

Clean!! Kettle, toaster were both tucked away but easy to locate.

Would have loved if a tea towel had been supplied as part of regular linens. We improvised and used a bath towel.

There was a bus stop nearby which only took 5 mins to the centre.

The flat had two doors to enter which was not obvious when we arrived. We spent 25 mins trying to get in the door which had flat number on it which would not work. After which we realised the door with no flat number on also belonged to the flat. This worked and allowed us to enter.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. We had a family suite and it was big enough for the five of us. There are lifts too which came in handy with the pram. The location was easy to walk to from the town centre. There’s a 24hr mini supermarket on site which you can purchase all necessities. There is also a really lovely park for the little ones.

Not much space to stand while upstairs. I am 5’6 and I had to crouch down to walk while entering bed.

Everything was perfect. If you go to Gothenburg this place is a must! Comfy beds, the place was immaculate, great views and had everything you needed to make it a pleasurable stay. If we are heading back to Sweden I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Fräscha smart planerade studios med bra förvaringsmöjligheter, tvätt- och diskmaskin samt stort badrum m dusch. Trevligt loft utanför med fin, vid utsikt, vissa mot hamnen, vattnet. Supertrevligt!

床很大很舒服，厕所也是。

空调有点尴尬，顶层的暖和了中间层的就非常热。然后因为窗帘不遮光，晚上熄灯后房间依然非常亮。

Kunne vært en liiitt større TV i stuen bare.

Sehr coole und funktionale Appartments - im schwedischen, modernen Stil. Alles da was man braucht, sauber und neu. Sehr offen gestaltet, also keine Türen (außer beim Bad). Für mich und meine Teenager wars super, aber das mag vielleicht nicht jeder.

Die Anlage ist riesig und nicht sehr zentral, das haben wir unterschätzt. Aber es gibt sehr gute öffentliche Anbindungen.
