We loved the location! It was within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants, which made it easy to explore Beaufort. The space itself was also very spacious, making it a great place to stay.
The biggest downside was the tub/shower setup. It was an older clawfoot tub, and there wasn't anything to hold onto when stepping in and out, which made it difficult to use. I could see this being especially challenging for older guests or anyone with mobility concerns, so it would be helpful to know that before booking.
The plumbing also seemed dated. Every time we turned on a faucet, rusty brown water would come out for about 2–3 minutes before it finally ran clear.
Lastly, the stairs leading up to the loft were very narrow and fairly steep. While this wasn't an issue for us, it's definitely something future guests should be aware of before renting the unit.
