SOHO PV - 1007 Best and Brand New Condo

Location, location, location. SOHO is perfectly situated in the Romantic Zone, close enough to walk to restaurants, bars, beaches, and all the action, yet far enough away that noise is never an issue. For me, that balance was absolutely perfect. The apartment itself exceeded my expectations in every way. It felt truly luxurious, with breathtaking ocean views and incredible sunsets every evening. It was also exceptionally well equipped: a washer and dryer, dishwasher, a large refrigerator, coffee, salt, kitchen essentials, and plenty of dishes, glasses, and utensils. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is already there. Another pleasant surprise was discovering that the unit actually had two bathrooms. I was expecting one based on the listing, so having a second bathroom and a very spacious primary bathroom was a great bonus. The concierge team was excellent throughout the stay. Communication was quick, responsive, and helpful whenever we needed assistance. Security was one of my biggest concerns before arriving, and SOHO completely exceeded my expectations. The building has 24/7 security and multiple access control points before reaching the residential units, which made me feel extremely safe throughout my stay. The amenities are also outstanding. The pool area is spectacular, and the service at the restaurant and bar was consistently excellent. The food, drinks, and overall attention from the staff were top-notch. I don’t see myself staying anywhere else when I return to Puerto Vallarta.

A few recommendations for improvement: The dryer seemed to be a little inconsistent and didn’t always fully dry clothes. It wasn’t a major issue since clothes dried quickly on the balcony, but it may be worth checking. Regarding communication, I requested a late check-out and was happy to pay the additional fee. The only suggestion I would make is to communicate any check-out time limitations upfront. I was asked multiple times what time I planned to leave before being informed there was a cut-off time. A more direct explanation from the beginning would have been helpful, although it was ultimately not a significant issue. I completely understand the policy of not allowing outside food and beverages in the pool area because there is an on-site restaurant and bar. However, I believe water should be treated differently. Either allowing guests to bring bottled water or providing a filtered water refill station would be greatly appreciated. If outside water is not permitted, charging a price closer to what guests would pay at a nearby convenience store would feel more reasonable. Housekeeping was complimentary and provided during the first few days of our stay, which was appreciated. The team also communicated in advance when service would not be available on subsequent days. That said, because we frequently returned from the beach with sand, it would be helpful either to offer more consistent housekeeping service or to provide basic cleaning tools so guests can keep the floors tidy themselves when needed. Despite these minor suggestions, my overall rating remains a perfect 10/10. The location, views, amenities, security, service, and quality of the apartment make Soho an exceptional place to stay, and I would happily return.

The balcony view was perfect and the roof top pool was amazing.

When out on the balcony, the noise from the road was only bothersome when it was large trucks and motorbikes, and those were quite frequent at times. On the rooftop, you hear very little.

Condo lacked a feeling of warmth. Couch not conducive to conversations or comfort. Seemed stark. More paintings and decorative items need to make it feel welcome.

The modern aesthetic of the unit. Excellent air conditioning. Loved the L’occitaine bathroom amenities.

Just the only thing the noise from the patio doors because the glass doors are not completely sealed so noise comes through. The sliding glass doors in the bedroom also allows for lots of noise from time to time as people walk by in the hallway. But apart from that it is a luxury accomodation. Will book again.
