ALL ABOOOOAARD! Welcome to Jon and Heather’s remodeled 1978 Burlington Northern caboose! On 10 acres of North Idaho beauty! Bring your ATV’s, SxS’s, snowmobiles, swimmingj trunks, skis, kayaks, boat or just your hiking shoes. Your minutes away from it all! Give the horses treats, go skiing, have your morning coffee in the warm and cozy cupola! That feeling of seclusion and peace awaits you. 20 minutes from Sandpoint. Veterans, military, first responders get 10% off*. The caboose is 279 sq feet of railroad history. Personally redone by your hosts. As you enter, you can almost hear the clickety-clack of riding over the rails as you settle in the main room furnished with a premium couch that houses a double bed. The custom made table catches your attention as well as the fireplace that gently warms the caboose and emanates a soft orange glow. The caboose is equipped with a kitchenette with wine glasses, coffee cups, complimentary coffee, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, and a selection of utensils and dishes. As you proceed you come to the cupola (COO-pa-la). Climb up, and enjoy the view. Beyond the cupola is the custom tiled bathroom/shower. The bedroom is at what we call the A-end, an inviting double bed is waiting for you after an activity filled day! Outside is the barbecue grill and outdoor dining area. You can feed the horses snacks that we provide.

Finding overnights that accept a 95lb pup can be a challenge. The Loosey Caboosey is so clean and inviting, we felt right at home and had a chance to relax on a long drive.
