Welcome to The Happy Elephant!
This spectacular home has been professionally designed top to bottom. The resort-style backyard includes all the amenities to host multiple families, a bachelor/bachelorette party, or large groups. The open concept living area offers provides a large living room, indoor and outdoor dining spaces for the entire group, and a lavish kitchen. Guests of all ages can enjoy the new saltwater pool (with basketball hoop), barbecue and fire pit, as well as lots of games.

However, the open setting of the home may allow desert critters or flying bugs to be present at the property and in the pool. Please understand that this is the nature of the region, and out of our control. If you encounter any of our desert dwellers during your stay, please reach out and we will try our best to remedy the situation.
While our home is cleaned regularly before and after each guest, this desert region is know for natural dust storms and strong winds from time to time. These winds may carry sand that may collect in the yard, and pool overnight.

The pool was wonderful and made our trip unforgettable. Mikkel was very responsive the two times we had questions. The house was very well equipped with almost everything we needed.One thing to note is that there are flies and mosquitos in the backyard, so you’ll want to make sure to pick up some bug spray. The mosquitos seemed to only come out at dusk, so we didn’t even realize they were there until we had itchy bites the next day. Once we got bug spray and a citronella candle we were all set, and the pool more than made up for a few bug bites.

Our large group of couples enjoyed our escape weekend in the desert. We had some issues with the spa/pool heating, but Mikkel got back to us quickly every time and helped us out. Having a ping pong table, pool table, corn hole and pool/spa made for a very entertaining weekend!

Great place, clean, open downstairs for hanging out and the swim up bar to the out door kitchen is a great feature
