About this house rental
The home is currently for sale and showings may be scheduled during your stay. There are only occasional showings. If you do not want to allow showings, then please do not book this property. We will apply a $150 discount per showing, if we need to show the home during your stay.
Our new custom built 2,200 square foot, 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom single level residence is located in Twilight Meadows, which is the custom residential neighborhood adjacent to Cascade Village, which is less than 2 miles north of Purgatory and 26 miles from downtown Durango.
This is a rare opportunity to rent a new luxury home yet have access to the free on-site amenities at Cascade Village including an indoor heated pool, sauna, outdoor/indoor hot tubs, pool table, outdoor tennis court, and ski rental shop (with discounts). The home is immediately adjacent to national forest with hiking, cross country skiing, mountain biking, four wheeling, fly fishing and a host of other wilderness activities just out the back door.
This residence features amazing views of the Needles Mountains, the signature range of 14,000 foot peaks the Purgatory area is known for, as well as Spud and Engineer Mountains. Note the owners keep their car in the one car garage, so while a car can't be parked in the garage, there is access for storing sports gear and accessing the home. The home is one of the few in the area that features central AC for the occasional warm summer day.

The house features paved access so 4WD is NOT required on winter (Unless you happen to arrive during a major snow storm).
Purgatory offers a complimentary ski shuttle to our Cascade rental guests on a set schedule 1-2 times in the AM and PM during the ski season, on a first come first serve basis. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.
All of the Cascade Village units are equipped with reliable Fiber Optic internet service with an average internet speed of up to 50 Mbps. In late 2020 Cascade Village moved from cable TV service to all streaming services. While in-house, guests can stream their favorite movies and TV shows on their preferred provider (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime) using the smart TVs in the unit. With fast and reliable fiber optic WIFI, guests can stream on multiple devices.
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

There are many good things about this property. The beds are very comfortable. We all got a good nights rest everyday. The layout is awesome. Three full bathrooms made it very comfortable. The front deck was spacious and very relaxing to kick back and enjoy the view. I did quit a bit of that. I liked having everything on one floor, no stairs to climb up and down. The location was also very nice. The Cascade area is cool in August and midway between Silverton and Durango.

We stayed at this beautiful house 9/19/24-9/24/24. The house is located 26 miles north of Durango and south of Silverton and Ouray. The house is beautifully decorated and in immaculate condition. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset under the covered furnished porch. This lovely house added to our amazing mountain retreat getaway.

We stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate my 30th birthday! We had 3 couples and it was a perfect fit for us. We had a little bit of trouble getting to the house but it was dark and if we had got there earlier we would have seen it from the highway easily. This house was beautiful and felt very clean! The best part was the absolutely gorgeous morning views from the deck! We loved having our coffee outside and watching the sun come up over the mountains. I also could not believe how much wildlife we saw from this house! It was very easy to communicate with the house management and we loved having the starer kits in the kitchen and bathrooms. The local coffee we were supplied with was delicious 😋. The only thing that was disappointing was that we were never able to get into the pool at the main building. It was out of order and the place was closed early in the day so we couldn't get any info about it. We didn't pick this place for the pool access so we weren't too sad about it. We would absolutely stay here again!!
