Monfenera Little Apartments

Loved the communication style and the PDF instructions on how to manage the self-check-in/check-out process - step by step, clear and accurate, the hosts really made sure we knew how to proceed upon arrival and get the keys without waiting around. The apartment was clean; we had everything we needed for 7 nights. No complaints about the hosts or the property itself, everything was perfect. Early check-in was fortunately available, so that was also nice and accommodating on their part. Every traveler's dream is to arrive at their destination and find out everything is as advertised. The location is pretty good, there is a bus station and a train station just around the corner, there are two big grocery stores nearby, so everything you need is close by.

The entrance to the apartment building is in a street that has no sidewalk, so you're kind of hanging out in the street while unlocking the door while cars pass behind you. It's a bit inconvenient if you have a big suitcase or a lot of luggage to enter the building and there is a narrow staircase to the upper floors, so bear that in mind. Also, the neigbourhood itself is really noisy at night, so if you are a light sleeper you will have complaints, but that's not the owner's fault, they can't control the neighbours :) Just a heads up for anyone who needs total silence at night. But then again, the whole city of Palermo is hectic, so I guess that's normal. We are from the Balkans, so nothing new for us in that department. :)

- very loud neighbor upstairs who likes to move furniture at 1 am, we had to knock at their door a couple of nights to ask them to stop which wasn’t really pleasant - I feel like the host maybe could have done a bit more about the situation above

Materasso datato e rumoroso, bidet che perdeva acqua, angolo cottura ridotto all'osso e non molto pulita

El apartamento tenía buena localización respecto al centro histórico y monumentos de interés. Nos dejaron una botella de agua en la nevera de cortesía. Tenía secador de pelo.

La zona donde se encuentra el apartamento es bastante sucia, aunque una vez se ve de día se tiene otra perspectiva, por la noche no genera toda la confianza posible. Apareció una cucaracha en el apartamento y los dueños ni nos respondieron a los mensajes relacionados con el tema. La conservación del apartamento es bastante mejorable, el balcón está lleno de suciedad por lo que está prácticamente inutilizable. La mesa está coja e inestable. El baño tiene desagües al descubierto, papel higiénico tapando agujeros en la pared. Los vasos de la cocina no estaban bien fregados y el armario donde se encuentra la nevera se abre con mucha dificultad.
