Fabulous Oaxacan Vacation Abode

This property is really special architecturally and artistically. The owner is the mother of the artist Amador Montes, and visitors get to live with his gorgeous, dreamy works. Our room was spacious, comfortable and included a lovely, private terrace (with an outdoor bathtub)! And, the staff were all warm and immediately responsive to needs. Oh, and the breakfasts - absolutely delicious (and healthy)!!

It was very noisy on a Saturday night - it sounded like a d.j. was on our terrace. But for the rest of our 7 night stay, it was fine.

No communication. The place is a little run down. For the high price you pay. Elevator is not operating like it should. People got stuck. Roof top could be so nice but it’s very run down😞

Confusing light switches (bedroom light switch down the hall). Dishwasher broken and water leak. Host not responsive to messages after check in. Suite for eight but tight to get group in small living room. Second sofa in the hall … but away from everyone. Just a layout issue.

Great location. Coffee shop located in the lobby. Staff was friendly and helpful. Construction begins at 8am and so does the backhoe next door.

Fabulous place with location location location!

The location of this place is totally on point, close to everything, and the area is beautiful and completely walkable with a large park right across the street. They had a laundry room available at no charge, and the front desk was staffed 24/7 and felt completely safe. The unit was very well-appointed, and the bed was super comfortable and the sheets had a cozy, clean smell.

It's such a great place to stay, but the live music on the street below was loud at times. Luckily, it stopped between 10-11 PM, but with an early flight the next morning, it was futile to try to get sleep early.

The washroom wasnt as clean as I would like- I asked "via booking.com" for some extra towels and cleaning supplies as we stayed a while- never had any response. If I asked someone at the actual accommodations they would have provided me everything I needed - this was my mistake. i should have notified the cleaning staff as soon as we arrived.

Spacious, stylish, comfortable and excellent location

The place is spacious and has an excellent terrace. The location is excellent, close to many attractions and fantastic restaurants, cafes and especially the park. There is a fantastic cafe in the first floor of the building. Also 24/7 security guards. The property is well maintained.

The elevator was broken often, on and off every day. Inconvenient considering that the apartment is located on the 3rd floor. The staff were professional and helped us carry luggage up and down, as the elevator was broken when we arrived and the day we left.

Great location, otherwise very disappointing

Great location and beautiful rooftop. Laundry facilities were nice and accessible. Staff on site were always very friendly and helpful. Getting in and out of the building was convenient.

Check-in was quite confusing and there was poor communication from the hotel despite repeated requests for early check-in or bag drop off until room was ready. Upon checking in, the room was also quite different than advertised in photos and description (note: a double room does not mean there are two bedrooms for Casa Miravalle despite provided photos indicating such, it means a bedroom and a very uncomfortable sofa couch). Staff seemed surprised when they asked me how many people in our reservation when I arrived and I said the reservation was for 3 people, despite the reservation being for 3 people. As such, the room was not prepared for 3 people. The first floor apartment was quite loud in the evenings and mornings and the WiFi almost never worked in the apartment. Despite communicating these concerns to the hotel via the direct Whatsapp number and provided online Concierge website, responses were either never received or delayed to the point that they were no longer helpful. The room itself appeared clean but the couch that ended up being one of the beds during our stay was quite dirty and the tea kettle had previously been used to boil rice and never cleaned. There were very few outlets outside of the bedroom and those that were there were in odd and inconvenient places (i.e. not by the bathroom mirror but inside the toilet/shower area).

Exceptional.

The location was great. Staff was very friendly. The room met our expectations for the price. The photos of the rental did not lie and the description did not exaggerate anything. Parque Mexico is literally across the street. Lots of things to walk to near by. Lots of restaurants/coffee shops downstairs. In the hotel/town, I felt safe being with my wife and 2 daughters.

Very clean, well-located and beautiful apartment stay

You cannot beat the location of Casa Miravalle with so many restaurants, cafes, and practical businesses like pharmacies, convenience stores, and a Walmart Express close by. We chose the 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom Superior room (the Kahlo room). It had so much well-decorated space and natural light plus it's own patio—it was perfect for our family of 3.

As many others have noted, there is a major construction project going on in the lot to the south, however, as long as you're not trying to sleep during normal business hours, it did not disrupt our stay. While there is full-time security and a few staff near the entrance, there isn't really a formal concierge to help with any arrangements. This was fine for us because we've been to CDMX several times but if you prefer a hotel with more concierge service, you may feel unsatisfied.

We loved the location and how immediately we felt like we were home. Having an entire apartment with a toddler gives you space and flexibility.

The washer unit didn’t work in our apartment but we weren’t told about this ahead of time. We found out through trial and error. Not the end of the world but did give us a bit of a head ache to deal with a half full washer that didn’t drain its water. When we approached the staff they told us it was broken and if we hadn’t been told they also allowed us to use their unit in the laundry room on the third floor which was amazing.

Just Amazing

Very centralized , very beautiful , the park near is very spacious lots of activity , lots of beautiful dogs , cafes , restaurants , it’s a mini Paris in the city of Mexico . Bring your sweater the weather changes. Even if it rains you get to enjoy .

Okay place to sleep, offers nothing else.would not stay here again

THIS IS NOT A HOTEL, POOR EXPERIENCE!!! The location is great, other than that there is nothing good about the facilities. This is basically an airbnb. Poor customer service. Doorman was asleep and it took forever for him to open the door, at 9pm. There is no desk or reception. There is no daily room cleaning. This was not good. If you are looking for a nice experience, look elsewhere. We stayed at Casa Mali the week before and that was wonderful. This was a sad comparison. I would not stay here again.

Poor or actually zero customer service, inattentive, no daily room cleaning. This is an airbnb not a hotel and a poor one at that. Would definitely not stay here again. Sure it’s clean when you walk in but it won’t be cleaned again.

An excellent location with an extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom shower was great. The staff working there were so friendly and attentive when I made a couple of requests. My children and I really enjoyed our stay. We will stay there again if we travel back to Mexico City!

The kitchen is more like a kitchenette. There isn't an oven and because of the small size of the kitchen, there are some items that are not available.
