A wonderful location. Sylvaine and Jacques greeted us like friends and did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room was air conditioned which was essential in the heatwave. The breakfast is unbelievable. My wife is coeliac and cannot have gluten. Everything possibel was done to ensure that she was well catered-for ! If I could give a Michelin star for the breakfast ! The location is superb in the heart of this beautiful village and close to all the vineyards of this classic region. My wofe and I will surely return.

Impeccable!!! Words cannot adequately describe how much we enjoyed our stay at Chateau Papounan, in the studio ‘Les Vignes’ . If we could, we’d give it 15/10! We really appreciated the warm welcome we received from Sylvaine and Jacques, this made us feel relaxed and immediately at home. Nothing proved to be too much trouble for them to ensure that we were completely comfortable. The studio was beautifully decorated and well equipped, we wanted for nothing, and the bed was a delight to sleep on. The breakfasts were sensational and deserved several Michelin stars! The recommendations for a variety of winery visits were fantastic and our hosts were extremely helpful in arranging some of these, especially on May 1st! We learnt something new every time. This trip was certainly a ‘bucket list’ item come true!

Absolutely nothing!

Accueil formidable et très chaleureux, les propriétaires ont fait de notre séjour un moment rare et précieux. Tout est fait pour que l'on se sente bien, Jacques et Sylvaine ont fait de leur demeure un endroit très agréable que l'on a du mal à quitter. Chambre spacieuse, salle de bain lumineuse très confortable, jardin très bien entretenu ou il fait bon flâner et prendre le petit déjeuner, le Château de Papounan est un bijou et y résider est une expérience magique. Jacques et Sylvaine ont le gout de la rencontre et sont à l'écoute des moindres désirs de leurs hôtes; de plus ils nous ont très bien conseillés en ce qui concerne les visites et activités possibles dans la région. Et quels petits déjeuners inoubliables!!! Vous l'aurez compris, nous sommes revenu enchanté de notre séjour et ceci grâce à Jacques et Sylvaine, merci encore à eux
