Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping หลงเชียงดาว

We had a a wonderful stay. The north of Thailand was a real surprise and that was also thanks to the stay at Lhong Chiang Dao glamping. The team was very helpful to find transport and restaurants during our stay. The north of Thailand is mostly domestic tourism with few people speaking English but they are very welcoming and eager to help. The property is super well equipped with individual jacuzzi baths in each room. The countryside views are breathtaking

Beautiful setting right next to the brook, with plenty of lovely spots to relax and enjoy nature. The glamping accommodations are a wonderful experience, and the whole place has a peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff at the restaurant were incredibly kind. We also really appreciated how fair and accommodating the team was when we needed to change our reservation. It feels like the perfect place to spend one or two nights, especially if you're looking to disconnect.

Communication could be better. Before our arrival, it was difficult to get a response to emails, and once we arrived, communication was sometimes challenging because the staff spoke very limited English. Having a car is highly recommended, as taxis in the area are quite expensive. Also, note that the family accommodation consists of two separate tents under one shared roof, rather than one enclosed family room. Also - hot water was only available in one of the two showers (and not in the baths), and we're spotty. This could again be due to the off-season.

Lovely glamping site with good domes, showers and bubble bath.

Open terrace and bath tubs can do with a deep clean. Dome was a bit musky but is was humid during rainy season. Learned on arrival that restaurant was closed which meant a 15 minute drive to town.
