Me and my wife had a wonderful time here. The view from the private little terrace was what we enjoyed most. We could just sit there whole evening looking over the valley. The food was great. Great place if you want to get away from the crowd. You should know it’s far away from everything and you do need a car or use Grab. If using Grab I recommend to tell the driver that they can comfortably turn around their car in front of the hotel. The very last part of the road to the hotel is dark and some Grab drivers were not hesitating to drive there in the dark. And bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper as the animals can get quite loud in the night and early in the morning. We slept with the sliding doors open and loved it! We stayed in the “villa”.

Although it’s ok, the shower was a bit poor. It works but that’s it. A new showerhead doesn’t cost that much.

Das Zimmer war sehr groß und geräumig, die Betten bequem. Die Aussicht war super. Die Gastgeber waren freundlich aber sehr kühl. Wir durften bis zu unserem Haus vor fahren, da ein Mitreisender eine Gehbehinderung hatte.

Im Bad bildete sich eine Ameisenstraße, das Warmwasser funktionierte nicht. Das umfangreiche Regelwerk (die Regel wegen der Lautstärke kann man verstehen) hat uns abgeschreckt. Alles in allem haben wir uns, trotz des Zugeständnisses zum Parken, nicht sonderlich herzlich aufgenommen gefühlt.

Location on the hill was nice with good views, but transport essential as quite far from food etc. View from restaurant also nice.

Staff were miserable with little welcome or pleasant communication. Generally the room was OK, but for the price really needs updating. Bed was firm, plastic covered mattress and polyester sheets not ideal for good sleeping. gas powered shower completely useless, either a good flow and cold, or a trickle and slightly warm. Controls removed. Dubious safety of this appliance. Needs replacing. Breakfast very poor, barely OK for thai, poor for foreigner. No effort to make nice and little choice. Very overpriced.
