The location was very convenient for us - close to my family's place in Alameda - and that area of Portland was very easy to navigate. The property was squeaky clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable (although we didn't try the couch pull-out queen bed). Unfortunately, the weather was too cold for us to sit out on the back deck, but it's very nice and in slightly warmer weather, would be a great place to eat. I appreciated having access to laundry facilities - I used them a couple of times.

This place might not be right for those with mobility challenges. We're old (76 & 82), so getting in and out of the beautiful claw-foot bathtub was kind of a challenge. A step-stool and grab-bars would be good additions here. There are more front steps than shown in the photograph, although there are hand rails on both sides. The stairs down to the basement, where the washer and dryer are located, are a little steep, but manageable; a handrail would help here. In no way did this diminish our enjoyment of the property, and we would definitely stay here again.

Clean, unique art work, good size for 2 adults, historic and charming. Bed was super comfortable.

Nothing to watch. Living room tv just had religious and shopping channels. Netflix or more local news would have been really nice. Couldn’t find any good channels. Bring DVDs because there is a DVD player. This property is very loud on weekends. Close to busy street and a dispensary that got really loud. No fault of the owner’s obviously.
