Golf & Unwind: Family Home 2 Mi to Covell’s Beach!

Lovely experience overall. The house was as described: very comfortable. One of our party suffers from allergies and sometimes suffers in rental properties: he noted that this house was clean and he had a positive, no-allergy experience. For the five adults in our group, having two living areas was just great. Plenty of room for everyone to hang out together in one place, but room to separate and enjoy privacy when desired. With the sliding door closed, sound didn't even carry from one area to the other. We all enjoyed that. The deck was nice. Despite being a little before the season, we were lucky to have nice, warm weather. As a result, we spent lots of time on the deck. Coffee every morning, outdoors, with a couple of Baltimore orioles on the nearby trees. Lots of nice bird sounds out there. Nice for cocktails before dinner, too! Kitchen was well supplied with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, etc., as well as good appliances. We enjoyed most of our meals at the property. Nice dining areas, indoors and outdoors. We did get out for dinner one night and some of our party headed out for lunch sometimes. Lots of restaurant choices with pretty reasonable pricing nearby. We were not really familiar with the neighborhood when we booked the house. Very happy with the location. The street is quiet and private, but off a busy road. It was great to enjoy the nice neighborhood but still be very close to lots of restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, and tourist areas. Even better, there was so much to do within a short drive. We enjoyed the beaches, local parks with gardens and wooded walking paths, and walking at a wildlife sanctuary. We had several very different beach experiences that were great fun: some very nearby, all with a 30 minute drive. Completely worthwhile. For casual walking and hiking, the biggest problem is that there were so many places to walk that we couldn't visit all that we would have liked. Perhaps next time.
