Apartment Vista del Arenal by Interhome

We absolutely loved our stay here. The decor is gorgeous, modern but quirky, stylish yet really homely and comfortable. The location is 10/10. It’s so close to the beach, as well as all the bars, shops and restaurants in Jávea, which made everything really easy. The road outside can be a little noisy, but once the windows are closed you genuinely can’t hear a thing. The air conditioning was very welcome and worked brilliantly, especially in the Spanish heat. The sofa and TV area were really comfortable, with access to all the usual apps, and the WiFi worked perfectly throughout our stay. The kitchen was really well equipped with plenty of utensils. We also loved the building itself — it’s beautiful, traditional and full of character, and the neighbours were really friendly and helpful. The pool area was fantastic too, although with the beach being so close, we spent most of our time there! A lovely bonus was having beach chairs, an umbrella and cool bags provided, which made beach days so much easier. We were travelling with children, so we also left behind our bucket and spade, armbands and a little fishing net for future families to enjoy. We would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it!

A couple of small improvements The only downside for us was the beds. The mattresses were very firm and we didn’t find them particularly comfortable. It would also have been a nice touch to have a few basic kitchen essentials provided, such as salt, pepper and cooking oil, particularly for guests who are only staying for a short time. We appreciate we stayed during the height of summer in a fantastic location, and the apartment is understandably priced accordingly. However, given the price we paid, we did feel that more comfortable mattresses would make a big difference to the overall experience. Also, no lift was tough with heavy bags. We absolutely managed but may be not be accessible for all.

The view from the balcony was lovely; the whole balcony was great to have. The apartment has most things that guests could need and is very spacious with pleasant decor. The air-con was very welcome 🙂 The location was perfect too, everything is on your doorstep.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The communication with the host’s agents was difficult- there were no responses to my concerns or questions which caused a fair amount of anxiety.

The apartment was a little cluttered and run down and could do with a few improvements. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and there were a few things that were broken / on their last legs (bathroom hook kept falling off & toilet seat came off when opening). It was reasonably clean but there was dust on the lamps and some surfaces and under the beds. The location was very convenient but also very loud when trying to sleep. There is also no lift to get to the third floor so you have to go up and down many flights of stairs so not accessibility friendly.
