Villa Agave by Interhome

Well equipped. Lovely barbecue area, kitchen was well kitted out, pool was lovely. The additional facility of a downstairs bathroom and bedroom was excellent.

Bedrooms not big enough to have a dressing table or anywhere to put toiletries, make up etc. Not big enough to store cases out of the way. The fans were operated by remote control and all linked, so turning one on would alter the setting on another fan in another bedroom. Outside area was unclean when we arrived….. used plasters on the floor, cigarette end in the outside sink and broken glass on the floor.

Dit huis was perfect. We waren met 6 volwassenen en 2 kleine kinderen. Het huis was bij aankomst brandschoon, de keuken had alle benodigdheden (zelfs 3 soorten koffieapparaten) en het zwembad was heerlijk. De Lidl is op steenworp afstand (3 min lopen) wat super fijn was voor de boodschappen. We hebben genoten van de buitenkeuken, maar in het centrum uit eten is ook super makkelijk. Het centrum is prima op loopafstand, al is het wel een beetje heuvelachtig.

Fabulous villa very secure with locking gates all round. Great location 5 minute walk to Lidl 10 minutes to Mercadona supermarket. 20 ish minutes to the beach front. Everything you need I couldn’t fault it. Plenty of space for all. Kitchen very well equipped with a little welcome pack with a few essentials to get started and even a bottle of wine. Parking was great we had a large 7 seater and as long as you drop down off the main top road no issues at all just take your time. We certainly made the most of the pool, BBQ area etc. Just a perfect holiday making memories with our family.

Just the air conditioning was on a 2 hour timer I understand it wouldn’t be economical to leave on if not there but if warm at night you would need to get up and press the switch. Although there were large ceiling fans in all rooms.

The villa had good facilities for our group of 10 adults. It was located within a 5 minute walk to a Lidl and the bus station in a quiet location. We were within walking distance of the beach and Calpe Old town.

It is a property for 10 adults but there are only 5 sunbeds. When we arrived there were no basics in the villa like tea, coffee, foil etc that we’ve have had previously. We had an issue with a pool grid causing a laceration which reported twice to Interhome and was not dealt with during our stay. Also the keys need collecting and dropping off at the Interhome office which is a 25 minute walk away. We’ve previously done by lock box or in person at the property.
