Penelope's B&B was built in the early 1900's has been fully restored retaining its Architectural design. A very cozy family room with a 4 top dinette for a perfect gathering and reflection from a full day in the Big Easy. The Living Room has a sofa sleeper. What an enjoyable place to stay while in New Orleans. The house was cool and clean… had everything we needed. The manager made sure we were comfortable and had some great recommendations for some local flavor. The neighborhood was just blocks away from the French Quarter, quiet but convenient. Check out Treme Coffeehouse just a few blocks away! Highly recommend!

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. It is meticulously cared for, and we even had an opportunity to meet the owner who was very nice. The place is absolutely spotless and the location is perfect for walking all over the French Quarter. We hadn’t even left yet and my friend was already making plans to rebook the property for her birthday with her family.

Perfect location, right across Rampart from the Quarter. Host was helpful. Courtyard in back was nice. The hvac is VERY loud in the bedroom furthest from the street. And the tv remote in the bedroom closest to the street is busted. Everything else was fantastic.

As described on the listing. Very quiet neighborhood with shops within a few walking blocks. Out of the noise but minutes from the fun if you are seeking it.
