Chill Villa

Fijne, ruime kamers. Het personeel was ontzettend aardig en hielpen ons met veel vragen. We kregen iedere dag een heerlijk ontbijt. De acccomodatie ligt op ongeveer 409 meter van de zee. Aan de boulevard zitten veel leuke restaurantjes.

De bedden waren, net zoals in bij alle hotels in Thailand, hard.

Location just 5min walk to the beachfront (approx). Plenty of parking at the hotel. Small attached restaurant, not cheap not expensive, good value. Staff is extremely nice, pool is clean. Note, all rooms around the pool are very close together. When we were there it was quiet, but if some people visting might like to party at the pool it might get loud (this did not happen though).

The AC was very weak during the day, it takes a long time to get the room cool. During the day it will not get cold, only stop the room from getting too hot, we were uncomfortable. We informed the staff and they were very nice and allowed us to move rooms if we wanted, but we were too lazy to move our stuff- at night, the AC made the room cold and we slept comfortably, only during the day the AC is not strong enough to make the room cold. The hotel is pet friendly, but on the website it did not mention a pet fee. We were charged an additional 300 THB per night for our small dog. Overall the hotel is a good value, good staff, clean and spacious, these are minor inconveniences which we think the hotel can improve upon, but we would still give it a strong score and stay again.

The charming small property is owned by a lovely and helpful local couple who are eager to help the guests with all the requests. The room was spacious and clean, and the location was very good- despite not being right at the beach front, it was in a quiet location and not far from the beach. We rented motorbikes from the owners, so it was very convenient to get there. The breakfast was pretty good, and there are two small restaurants right next to the property. The pool was pretty nice, good for kids. Our kid loved staying here and playing with the owners’ cat. If we visit this part of Thailand again, we’d definitely stay here one more time.
