The host waited for us to show us around even though we got hopelessly lost and arrived nearly 3hrs late. She was so helpful and attentive throughout our stay. The location was perfect for the beach, restaurants and bars. We did not need to use the car in the evenings so could always relax and have a drink. Felt really safe and had no concerns walking to and from the villa at night time. Was good to be part of the local neighbourhood and interact with the Mauritian families in the compound.
The couch was not comfortable but we got used to it! There were some practical things missing from the kitchen but as soon as we asked, the host delivered with a smile 😊
Unfortunately the swimming pool was out of order for our 3 week stay but we swam every day at the beach so it was of little consequence. The beach at that end had rocks to paddle out but we were informed of this before our visit so took our beach/swimming shoes so this did not bother us at all.

Excellent host, Very near to the Beach and just a short hop from supermarket, Sovenir stores and all the hotels.
The villa was extremely calm and serene, enjoyed the stay. It also had all the amenities needed like washing machine, Iron board/box, internet and all the daily necessities
