Jolly Holiday Apartment 1 B

Excellent comms from the owner, Silvia. Met at the house by her friend. Given excellent local info on shops, eating places, etc. Spacious apartment, which was extremely well equipped. A/C in master bedroom packed up and was immediately attended to and fixed the same day. Excellent quiet location - great for the Epicurean Supermarket - 2 mins walk and close to Jolly Beach - 2 min in car or 10-15 min walk. Close to many other great beaches, (if you have a car, which we did). Great private parking right outside the apartment. excellent wi-fi and water pressure.

The apartment is now showing many signs of wear and tear and is somewhat dated. Although it is well equipped and spacious, it needs re-painting everywhere and a general modernisation facelift. The ensuite shower does not provide hot water, (it did on the 2nd day, then stopped - we didn't pursue it, as there was a 2nd shower we used). The sink in the en-suite is very slow to empty. Both kitchen sinks don't retain water - the plugs don't work as they should, so washing up was a little frustrating at times. All these things are relatively minor and didn't detract from the holiday, but the general appearance and attractiveness of the apartment could be improved.

Cute and well equipped. Quick walk to epicurean and the Harbour.

Refrigerator did not work all my food got spoiled. The building next door is a bit shady but the house in the front is nicer. Master shower hot handle didn’t work only in the second bathroom. Last day I found a small cockroach there as well. Owner started calling me a week before at 5 am several times to go over things that where settled or could be an email/message. Bad communication with her but not the lady who helped her. Still waiting for my deposit.

We have had the happiest holiday and the apartment is amazing. Everything you need for a wonderful stay. The host is amazing and shares all information, it made our stay in Antigua perfect 👌
