Very comfortable, hospitable B&B with excellent breakfast.

An absolutely fantastic B&B! The hosts are very personable and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was a comfortable one. The room was warm and had plenty of space for my luggage. Large, comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, good wifi, quiet location, and the breakfast options were amazing! A nice 25 minute stroll past the cathedral from the train station, but the hosts offered to pick me up from the station when I arrived and gave me a brief driving tour of Salisbury on the way with recommendations of places to visit. A nice added touch. Thank you for everything! A very pleasant stay.

Lovely family in a lovely home

Very kind and hospitable family with really polite and lovely children. I was visiting Salisbury with my partner as my sister was in hospital where she sadly died. The family were very kind and sensitive and little Alice even made me a beautiful card which I have kept. The house is in a great location - a 15 min walk into town, or 25 mins to the hospital (but also on a bus route). You could get in via a keysafe if no one was there. The house was warm and very clean and tidy; very comfortable. We had a room with bunkbeds (but very decent and wide beds) and very comfortable mattresses. (I don't think this room is often let though, it was lucky it was available). The bathroom was theoretically shared but in fact I don't think it was used by anyone except us. It was absolutely no issue at all. Shower or bath available. Family also offer use of their sitting room and all kitchen facilities. Very lovely people, would definitely recommend :)

All good. If pushed, maybe not everyone would be okay with bunk beds but we were fine with it during our stay.

Absolute warmth and human welcome, without sacrificing any privacy or freedom 🫶🏼 At the end of an extensive tour of the United Kingdom, I found in the home of Matt, Elisabeth, and the children a cosy refuge that welcomed me instantly. It is evident that the hosts delight in exceeding their guests’ expectations, and their warm hearts overflow. I still feel nostalgic for the three days shared in this beautiful house with this delightful family.

Everything was perfect; I would have loved to share it with my daughter, and I certainly will when possible.

A lovely place to stay with all the comforts of home.

The location was excellent with a lovely view and so close to town with parking. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and no questions were any trouble. The accommodation was really clean and the bedding was very clean and comfortable.

A home away from home, wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

The house was very clean, comfortable, spacious and homely. It had everything we needed! A great touch was all of the toys in the cupboards - my 3 year old absolutely loved those - and lots of family games. A big trampoline in the back garden as well, which all of the kids loved. Nice and quiet surroundings and only a short 5-10 minute drive into town.

The location , facilities. The house was clean and tidy. The family members running the establishment were exceptionally welcoming. Although I did not see anyone on arrival. I was shown my room by another person staying there. On meeting Elizabeth I was immediately made to feel welcome. I was offered a coffee and told to treat the house as my own.To be

Man fühlt sich daheim, auch wenn man unterwegs ist.

Das Haus strahlt sehr viel Liebe aus, das spürt man sofort und alleine das machte den Aufenthalt schon ganz besonders. Es fehlt es an nichts, auch mit Kindern würden keine Wünsche offen bleiben. Hier wohnt offensichtlich eine außergewöhnliche Familie, die wir leider aufgrund ihres Auslandsaufenthaltes nicht persönlich kennenlernen konnten. Der Kontakt über WhatsApp war immer schnell, unkomplizert und zuvorkommend. Der Familie war offensichtlich daran gelegen, dass wir uns in ihrem schönen Heim wohlfühlten. Was wir dann auch taten :-). Zwei Mitglieder unserer Gruppe waren leider erkrankt, sie durften am Abreisetag länger im Haus bleiben und der Reinigungsdienst wurde entsprechend instruiert. Alles unaufwändig und hilfsbereit. Bei einem zukünftigen Salisbury-Aufenthalt würden wir immer wieder vertrauensvoll dort buchen und uns gut aufgehoben fühlen. Vielen, vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!
