Le manoir de la Cane

Well located in the village centre. The room was large and the private bathroom very big with a good shower. There was a secure storage area in the garden for the bicycles. A short walk to the excellent Restaurant Louis. The host was very helpful when we needed to buy a new plug for our battery charger.

Very clean accommodation and a large bedroom and bathroom. Ground floor location with separate entrance. Parking outside in public car park. The house is an historical build with lots of artifacts

The house is very difficult to identify as the signage is so small and the rooms are part of a private house When we arrived we were told 'I have to go out in the morning so there is no cooked Breakfast and you will need to have Breakfast at 7.30am' We managed to negotiate a later time of 8.00am and the staff member stood over us as we completed our requirements on the menu which he then took away There was no hot water and when queried we were told 'the Boss told me to switch the hot water off as it's hot'. After a discussion the hot water was switched on The Bathroom is along the corridor not ensuite When having a shower it is impossible not to flood the bathroom floor which makes the tiles dangerously slippery There is no lock on the Bedroom door No extras eg tea/coffee/tissues. It was 44 degrees on the afternoon of our arrival and we were offered one bottle of water. The room had one fan (we knew there was no aircon) and we requested another one which was met with surprise
