This genuine 18th/19th century Breton farming settlement has since been renovated into a charming and tastefully decorated guest house located in the very quiet, idyllic rural area of Iffendic. Emmanuelle, the host, was very welcoming and friendly. ​Our triple ground-floor room was clean and comfortable, featuring a lovely big shower suitable for anyone with disabilities. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was sufficient, although more variety, such as fruit and cereals, would have been welcome.

Just to mention: 1. Our ground-floor triple room had a full glass front door to let in light, but it did not have any windows. We were told that leaving the door open would allow the cats to come in and sleep on the bed, meaning there was no ventilation in the room if the door was closed. ​2. Although we could bring the car down to offload our luggage, we were told that parking was better in an area away from the property nearer to the road, as peacocks would jump on the car and scratch the paintwork if it was parked outside the apartment. ​ 3. The lake behind the property looks lovely, but unfortunately there is no access to it, which we found a little disappointing.

Charming, quiet guest house with lovely outdoor seating area. Private entrance with convenient parking. Bountiful, delicious breakfast. Having several sightings of the beautiful resident peacock was an unexpected treat. Friendly, personable host. Great location for exploring Broceliande Forest.
