About this cabin rental
Welcome to our little piece of paradise in the mountains of Boone NC! A Mountain Dream Cabin is far enough from civilization to be secluded, yet close enough to town & local attractions to be more than convenient. Located only 10 quick miles outside of Boone, NC in the exclusive log cabin community of Twin Hollows. A Mountain Dream has every amenity to make your stay as comfortable, pleasant and stress free as you could ever imagine.
Hurricane recovery update:
From our Boone Area Chamber of Commerce with Town of Boone North Carolina and Explore Boone:
We welcome Appalachian State students back to Boone and our fall visitors are beginning to seek the beauty of autumn in the mountains once again.
Thanks to the tireless work of utility and construction crews, Boone and Blowing Rock have largely recovered from the storm’s impacts. Primary and most secondary roads have been repaired, though occasional lane closures and the need for alternate routes still exist in many areas.
Many of our retail and restaurant partners are open for business, including those in downtown Boone as well as other popular areas across the community. Please note that a curfew remains in effect from 11PM to 7AM daily throughout Watauga County
A Mountain Dream Cabin itself is fine too. Had a tree come thru the back porch roof but that has been patched. In the grand scheme of things we were very blessed/lucky that that was all the damage we incurred.
The resilience of our community and the outpouring of support from off the mountain has gotten us to this point.
With all that being so eloquently said, we welcome you back to our community with open arms. The businesses and restaurants are very much look forward to serving you again and seeing your smiling faces!

We had a wonderfully relaxing week at the cabin. The cabin is very well equipped with everything we might need, even a pizza cutter!The decks overlook the woods and as such, we were treated daily to Mama deer and her two fawns. My mistake was thinking there was a mountain view, but upon my rechecking the site, I realized the photos were taken in the fall, after leaves had fallen. We will just have to return in October! The cabin is located conveniently with Boone and Valle Crucis nearby which we enjoyed spending time. The Blue Ridge Parkway is still undergoing repairs due to the storm so we had some navigating to do. Thank you GPS! But the views are so worth it! A lovely cabin and we would recommend wholeheartedly.

Great cabin. Secluded and a little ways outside of Boone but great location and area. For those not familiar with the area, it’s a dry county out this way so bring your booze with you if you plan to partake and stop for groceries along the way.

Private and secluded yet just close enough to what you need. Lovely hot tub and gorgeous forest. Kitchen is minimally stocked but workable. Host was fantastic with communication.

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub worked very well and was so relaxing. The host answered me quickly if I had a question. It is close enough to activities around Boone, Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain area. GPS works great in getting to the cabin. The road is gravel (but State Maintained) and pretty steep getting up to the cabin. I would stay here again.
