About this house rental
South End Sanctuary is a modern (completed in 2023) 3 bedroom 1.5 bathroom house.
Wonderfully located near the well-known South forest perfect for walking, biking, and home to the adventure playground. The house is approximately 200m from the south forest entrance and 250m from the Hydrabad Drive beach access.
This family home has a master bedroom with a king bed, a second bedroom with a queen bed, and a third bedroom with 2x king single beds. While it sleeps 6 comfortably there is also a foam mattress and single sheets available to sleep an extra in the lounge if required. There is a main bathroom with toilet/shower/vanity and a separate toilet also.
The lounge/dining/kitchen is open plan. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a BBQ for outdoor use. There is outdoor dining on the patio and a grass area for activities. The house also has a washing machine for guest use if required.
Linen and towels are included, though we do ask that guests bring their own beach towels. There are basic consumables provided such as liquid soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, laundry powder, and dishwasher tablets. We provide enough toilet paper to get you started but ask that guests source their own if more is required.
In the kitchen, a starter pack of tea, coffee pods, and hot chocolate. Milk is not provided, we recommend you pick some up from the Foursquare on your way in.
As well as a TV (bring your own HDMI device) the house has a range of games and books to keep guests entertained. For the more techy or those wanting to do some work, the house has unlimited wifi.
While we are dog friendly we do ask that guests let us know. There are lots of dogs in the area and the beach and forest are dog-friendly however there can be pest bait/traps in the forest and dead fish/birds on the beach. The property is also fully fenced.
South End Sanctuary is not a party house. While we do want you to enjoy your stay we ask the outside noise be kept to a minimum between 10 pm and 7 am.
South End Sanctuary is self-check-in. Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out is by 10 am. A late checkout is sometimes possible but must be arranged prior to check-in.

Wonderful place to stay. Perfect location - close to the beach for walking the dog and lovely secure section, so she could be outside without running off. No complaints - all amenities were there, and the nespresso machine was especially appreciated. Great water pressure for lovely showers. Everything was clean, tidy, and in fantastic condition. Looking forward to staying again sometime in the future.

This is the second time we have stayed and love this property. It is modern and very clean. Very well equipped. A short walk from the beach. Pet friendly with a fully fenced garden. We will definitely return! Thank you for another great stay.

Absolutely loved our stay at South End Sanctuary. Modern, beautifully maintained bach, a short stroll to the stunning beach and so peaceful. We really appreciated the fully fenced backyard for our wee dog too. Adults and kids had a blast, would highly recommend.
