The Trailside Retreat is a family and pet-friendly getaway minutes from Greenville, Travelers Rest, and the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. You’ll have the adventure of a lifetime riding bikes or walking right from your backyard on the Swamp Rabbit Trail to the best parts of upstate SC. Just over 1 mile to Furman University’s awe inspiring 750-acre campus, 4 miles north to the laid back food and drink scene of downtown Travelers Rest, or 4 miles south to the popular Main Street and Falls Park in Greenville.
The space
Your vacation retreat includes 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 updated bathrooms and well-appointed kitchen, living, and dining rooms to ensure you’ll have a comfortable home base for whatever brings you to town. Complete with a dedicated remote workspace, bike storage, 2 bikes for guest use, over half an acre of fully fenced yard, and a fire pit/campfire grill with outdoor seating and dining areas, you’ll never want to leave the house… that is until you find out all the amazing experiences Greenville and Upstate SC have to offer.

Was a great house. Beds comfy. Well equipped ..Great location. The backyard was amazing especially for our pups. ! Being on the swamp rabbit trail was really cool!

Fabulous house, right on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Very clean, everything needed was provided, check in was easy, check out was even easier. Very highly recommended for a visit to Greenville SC or Traveler's Rest SC.

This was a perfect stay for our family of 2 dogs and young toddler. The house was so charming, organized and clean. We would definitely stay again.
