☞ No smoking is allowed (including vaping) anywhere on the property. If you smoke inside the home you will be charged $500. You will be charged an increase in a cleaning fee, and you will be charged for any damages.
☞ Person booking and checking in must be at least 25 years old to reserve and must occupy the rental property throughout the whole stay.
☞ No parties or events are allowed at Trout "N" About. We are located in a residential community and, although this is a vacation destination, this area is predominately families and nature-loving groups. This is doubtless part of the appeal to you too! Between the hours of 10pm and 8am the noise should be kept to a minimum.
☞ No pets allowed. We love our furries as much as you, but no pets are allowed due to allergies. If you sneak in a pet of any kind you will be charged an additional $250 and you will be asked to leave.
☞ Maximum occupancy of 8 people. Off-site visitors are not permitted without prior permission and are subject to a $100 fee per guest.
☞ Please do not adjust hot tub temperature above 104 degrees F and please return to 80 degrees F before departing.
☞ The indoor fireplace cannot be used between April 1 and September 30. Please turn off the fire and close the screen before leaving the home or going to bed but leave the pilot light on. Do not move the gas logs in the fireplace. NEVER LEAVE A FIRE UNATTENDED WHEN LEAVING THE HOME OR GOING TO BED.
☞ We follow our stated cancellation policies under all circumstances. We highly recommend guests purchase travel insurance to cover weather related issues and illnesses that may arise and interrupt travel.
☞ We have environmentally friendly plumbing. Please- NO grease, No flushable wipes, and NO food down the sink drain. DO NOT REMOVE WIRE MESH food catcher in the sink while in use. There is no disposal, and this mesh will protect the septic system.
☞ PLEASE do not place loose garbage in the outdoor trash shed. Our garbage service will not collect out garbage unless it is bagged and tied off. After placing it in the shed be sure the door is secured to keep our wildlife from gaining access. Thank you!
☞ DO NOT leave any fire unattended. Extinguish fires before leaving the property, going to bed, or if is going to be left unattended. The outdoor fire pit can be very hot. Do not touch!! Watch children around all open flames.
- NOTE: Your safety matters. This property features 4 exterior security cameras. Camera 1 is on the front right corner over the driveway facing the driveway, cameras 2,3, and 4 are on the other corners of the house and are only activated when the property is vacant between guests.

We had a great time at the property. Kevin was very responsive and the house was great for us, our son, and grandson.

We have been going to blue ridge area for the past 6 years or more for our anniversaries and this house and location was great. We enjoyed the outside fit pit, the swing, and listening to the river. My husband definitely enjoyed some fly fishing in the river.

Cabin is in a great setting right on the Toccoa River.
Cabin only around 5 years old - built in 2018.
There were a few items from the photos on the website that were inaccurate. There is no outdoor fire pit.
The hot tub does not get hot - unusable.
The outdoor fireplace on the porch is not safe to use. The fire brick on the back side of the hearth are cracked and falling out. Had to put some brick back in place during stay.
Several items inside are in need of repair - cabinet handles in bottom bath coming off - garbage pullout in kitchen - one drawer would not stay closed in kitchen - upstairs shower had no cover on the window.
The direct tv was reliable.
However, the wifi is Hughes Net and is slow at best.
We found the sheets on both king beds were wet when we arrived like they were taken out early from the dryer. We were drying sheets at midnight on the first night.
No response from contact as he was notified of the above items on the 2nd day of our 4 day stay.
