The location was incredible, right on the water. Facilities were clean and convenient. The apartment was well appointed and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The private owners did a great job with the interior renovation and we enjoyed a lot of time on the balcony.

The property is managed by Kona Coast Vacations. Expect to receive an overwhelming amount of emails, mostly addressing rules and guidelines for your stay. We also received emails regarding maintenance happening on the property, which included structural inspections of the building, which went on for several days, closure of the salt water pool, for two days, scoping of the sewer lines and repair of the a/c, which was off for a full day. We had requested some small token from Kona Coast Vacations for the inconveniences (credit for future stay, free/reduced tour from their concierge service, access to a local gym, etc) but were instead sent an email quoting the section of their lengthy rental contract that excludes them from responsibility. A missed chance at exceptional customer service, IMHO.
